Marker pen for queens Beekeeping

Queen bee marking is a common practice in beekeeping. Marking helps to locate the queen bee better within a colony, as sometimes we waste a lot of time searching for them to perform splits or even just to eliminate them. Additionally, marking also helps to determine the age of the queen through a color code that follows an international color code determining the years in which they are created, in cycles of 5 years, meaning that every 5 years the color is the same. The marking is done on the top part of the queen's thorax (between the head and the wings) and can be done directly in the hive without the need to grab or trap her; just a pen with odorless and non-toxic water-based ink. With this pen, it is possible to mark the queens without capturing them and running the risk of mutilating them or even rendering them useless by pressing their abdomen.
