Honey Cookies Recipe

This recipe is very easy to prepare at home. You can use any wheat flour you have, but the most important thing is to use high-quality honey.

Ingredients:

• 250 g of wheat flour
• 250 g of butter
• 200 g of sugar
• 2 eggs
• 8 tablespoons of honey

Preparation:

1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients at room temperature.
2. First, mix the butter and sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
3. Add the honey, eggs, and flour, a little at a time, until you get a thick and not too sticky dough.
4. Roll out the dough and knead it with your hands for about 10 minutes. If necessary, add more flour until you get a homogeneous dough.
5. Wrap in cling film and let the dough rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin.
7. Cut the dough into cookie shapes.
8. Place on a baking tray, leaving about 5 centimeters between the cookies.
9. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes at 190°C.
10. Serve the cookies immediately or store them in sealed glass jars.
